About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety is the top priority by conducting activities in accordance with QHSE management systems and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise production and warehouse employee activities during shifts to meet targets and customer requirements.
- Plan and communicate raw material and packaging requirements to support plant processes.
- Schedule site production in accordance with sales orders and operational priorities.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing site team, including participating in selection and training.
- Manage inventory through cycle counts and adjustments, and oversee the site tote fleet.
- Provide floor management, daily communication, and real-time operational coordination.
- Support administrative tasks and ERP (SAP) system transactions.
Requirements
- Secondary School Education required.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or production environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of provincial and federal regulations related to chemical manufacturing and distribution.
Preferred Qualifications
- College Diploma in Chemistry, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in production scheduling within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Experience in chemical manufacturing or distribution environments.
- Certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), GHS, and WHMIS.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Experience in transportation logistics and run planning.
