Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees and contractors engaged in production and support functions for tissue biologic products in compliance with cGMP and regulations
• Manage daily operations ensuring safety guidelines, policies, and production SOPs are upheld
• Relay new or revised policies and procedures to shift leads and personnel
• Resolve problems and concerns at the lowest level through effective communication
• Assess and record individual and team training to ensure compliance
• Assist management with hiring, transfers, promotions, and disciplinary actions
• Conduct one-on-one meetings to support developmental success and provide corrective action
• Ensure team members are engaged and understand the value of their work

Requirements

• Availability for 3rd shift (11pm - 7:30am, Sunday night through Friday morning)
• High School Diploma required
• 3+ years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (FDA preferred)
• Leadership experience coaching and managing teams
• Aptitude for understanding process, manufacturing, and packaging equipment
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Understanding of quality management systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree
• Experience with GMP, Tissue Processing, Cleaning and Sterilization, or distribution
• Continuous Improvement experience (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or DMAIC)
