Operations Specialist - Pricing

Responsibilities

• Quote and bid on international forwarding business, including ocean, air, domestic trucking, and customer brokerage
• Manage the end-to-end pricing process via load boards, from winning business to final invoicing
• Review and verify shipping documents such as commercial invoices and customer classifications
• Track customer bookings, update clients on shipment status, and manage dispatch for delivery
• Provide accurate job costing forecasts, managing payables, receivables, and accruals
• Resolve and reconcile incorrect payables by collaborating with vendors and overseas offices
• Maintain heavy communication with the operations team to ensure seamless handovers

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience quoting and handling import/export shipments (ocean and air)
• Proven experience using bid boards such as AOD, Cargo Base, or 4Pro
• Strong working knowledge of Incoterms
• Experience handling accruals and billing of services
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with CargoWise (C1)
• Knowledge of import compliance, rules, and regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
