Operations Specialist - Load Scheduling

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage load scheduling activities for truck and rail shipments to ensure smooth material movement
• Act as a key liaison between suppliers, internal traders, and customers to ensure timely processing and execution
• Maintain and update system data (FOPS) to reflect accurate load scheduling, changes, and cancellations
• Handle documentation processes including release numbers, gate passes, and shipping paperwork
• Communicate scheduling updates, confirmations, and changes to all relevant stakeholders
• Support monthly and ongoing scheduling activities to align with operational capacity

Requirements

• Graduate degree in any discipline
• 3–5 years of experience in BPO, logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, or related industries
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work rotational shifts (9-hour shifts between 7:00 AM IST and 2:30 AM IST)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in load scheduling, logistics coordination, or supply chain operations
• Experience working in rotational or night shifts supporting global operations
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines under pressure
