Operations Site Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize production activities to ensure compliance with local and corporate regulations, industrial codes, and best practices.
• Ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance, promoting a positive safety culture across the site.
• Establish and execute operational, organizational, and technical strategies to meet production volume and portfolio objectives.
• Manage departmental budgets, including manufacturing, operating, and capital investment (CAPEX) costs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using TPM and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance productivity and process efficiency.
• Oversee cGMP manufacturing operations, ensuring strict adherence to quality standards (FDA, EMA, IPEC, ISO) and product safety.
• Manage and develop multi-faceted manufacturing teams, including first-line supervisors and operational staff.
• Supervise technical activities related to CDMO drug delivery, scale-up, technology transfer, and process validation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in production planning and manufacturing management within a chemical or pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong expertise in safety and health management (HSE) and environmental compliance.
• Deep understanding of quality compliance, specifically cGMP, BPF, and regulatory standards (FDA, EMA, ISO).
• Demonstrated ability in budget management and cost control.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing diverse technical teams.
• Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or TPM.
