Operations Research Analyst

Responsibilities

• Assist with modeling and simulation for base resiliency and wargaming
• Support the development of optimization models for resource allocation
• Prepare visualizations and dashboards to support leadership decisions
• Gather and clean data for various simulation and analysis tasks
• Participate in wargame capstone events and pre-event preparations
• Document methodologies and maintain analytical tools
• Assist in risk analysis and the development of performance metrics
• Collaborate with senior analysts on experiment design and integration of simulation outputs

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Operations Research or a STEM field
• Experience using Microsoft Excel
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Python or R for advanced analytics
• Familiarity with DoD or Air Force data environments
• Knowledge of simulation software and optimization algorithms
• Experience with data cleaning and preparation processes
• Interest in AI/ML applications and wargaming methodologies
