Operations Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and administer quality standards across the Leeds distribution centre
• Manage the operational implementation of programs to maintain warehousing service quality
• Develop policies, procedures, and methods to monitor and improve operational quality
• Plan, facilitate, and execute internal, customer, supplier, or external certification audits
• Support corrective actions for non-conformance and audit results to maintain KPIs and certifications
• Oversee the collection and analysis of quality data, producing related metrics and identifying trends
• Maintain relationships with internal departments, customers, suppliers, and regulatory representatives

Requirements

• Proven experience developing and maintaining Quality Management Systems
• Experience undertaking internal audits to ISO9001:2015 (AS/EN 9120:2018 is desirable)
• Expertise in Root Cause Analysis and Continual Improvement techniques
• Strong analytical skills to support decisions impacting work processes and outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
• Proficiency with Power BI for data analysis and reporting
