Operations Project Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Manage low to mid-complexity and high-profile operational projects and programs to ensure timely implementation.
• Provide leadership and engineering expertise to team members, reviewing the work of site teams and engineers.
• Oversee project budgets, capital expenditure forecasts, and scheduling to ensure adherence to financial and timeline guidelines.
• Drive project design to meet market requirements, including cost, timing, reliability, and high-volume manufacturing needs.
• Collaborate with Engineering and subject matter experts to evaluate design alternatives and implement designs into mass production.
• Facilitate and document project meetings, including developing agendas and presenting status updates to stakeholders.
• Track project schedules and communicate technical details to both engineering and non-engineering groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Proven project management skills combined with technical understanding.
• Working knowledge of planning, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Microsoft Project.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (25-35%).
• Basic understanding of statistical analysis and reliability application to products.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in engineering project management.
• Working design knowledge of technologies associated with professional power tools.
