Operations & Process Improvement Intern - Financial Crime Ops

Responsibilities

• Review Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) escalated from Frontline Operations, Fraud, and FinCrime teams
• Conduct research to ensure reports are robust and evidence-led
• Assess high-risk relationships and provide logical rationales for business continuity
• Identify manual or inefficient processes and find ways to automate or improve them
• Work with AI tools and internal systems to optimize casework
• Collaborate with operational and risk teams to drive meaningful change

Requirements

• Final-year university student
• Intellectual curiosity and first-principles thinking
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle ambiguity
• Strong problem-solving mindset and focus on continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in STEM or a relevant discipline such as Financial Crime, Business, Criminology, Law, Psychology, or Social Sciences
