Operations Planner

Responsibilities

• Interface between suppliers, supply chain, and manufacturing to align schedules and resources for critical path items
• Translate engineering bills of materials into actionable planning signals for supply chain and production teams
• Monitor and report supply risk mitigation strategies to internal customers on a continuous basis
• Identify and communicate schedule blockers and their potential impacts
• Manage full product lifecycle demand and supply planning signals, focusing on the transition from development to production
• Negotiate internally and externally to ensure appropriate resource allocation
• Create tools and innovate planning processes to improve supply chain efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or Finance
• 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Planning, or Supply Chain
• Experience translating engineering designs into demand and supply plans
• Strong understanding of ERP and MRP systems
• Proficiency in MS Office or G-Suite
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work in industrial environments containing hazards such as heat, noise, high voltage, and cryogenics
• Ability to perform activities such as typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree
• Experience in a start-up or high-growth environment
• Experience with resource allocation and creating master schedules
• Experience with Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)
