About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage teams of pickers and store support staff to fulfill grocery orders
- Oversee inventory updates, including conducting regular stock takes
- Order inventory and manage incoming deliveries from suppliers
- Supervise daily store operations and ensure all facility requirements are met
- Ensure the effective use of the POS system
- Coordinate with riders to ensure the correct orders are dispatched to the right personnel
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in supermarket or convenience store management
- Strong team management and people leadership skills
- Proven problem-solving abilities with a hands-on approach
- Strong communication skills to handle customer queries and team challenges
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email
