Operations Partner Statutory Compliance

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end statutory and labour law compliance at the plant level, including PF, ESI, and the Factories Act.
• Oversee the procurement and timely renewal of factory and labour licenses.
• Prepare and submit all required statutory returns to relevant authorities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Maintain compliance registers and documentation to ensure readiness for inspections from Labour Departments and Pollution Control Boards.
• Monitor contract labour compliance and validate contractor adherence to statutory norms and minimum wage updates.
• Manage employee documentation from recruitment to exit, including payroll compliance and gratuity settlements.
• Lead statutory committees such as POSH, Works, Grievance Redressal, and Safety Committees.
• Oversee plant administrative functions, including health, hygiene, and safety compliance.
• Implement employee welfare schemes and well-being programs, including health checkups and wellness campaigns.

Requirements

• 10 to 12 years of relevant experience in HR, statutory compliance, government affairs, or administration.
• Mandatory experience working within a manufacturing setup (food or dairy industry preferred).
• Deep knowledge of Labour Laws, the Factories Act, and social compliance audit processes.
• Proficiency in SAP, SuccessFactors, and MS Office.
• Postgraduate degree in MBA, PGDM, MSW, or a related field.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
