Operations Monitoring Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Monitor critical real-time KPIs for First Mile (Pickup Success), Last Mile (Delivery Success), and Line Haul (On Time Arrival) to ensure daily SLA compliance.
• Lead contingency management and real-time decision-making during critical events, reallocating resources and routes to balance cost, speed, and customer experience.
• Direct and develop a team of monitors, managing performance and fostering a culture of ownership and structured shift handoffs.
• Maintain visibility and control over the active backlog, supervising the status of carriers, Cross-Docks, and FBM distribution centers.
• Drive continuous improvement by analyzing operational patterns and documenting root causes to implement structural solutions alongside the Analytics team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain (e-commerce experience preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience leading teams of 5+ people in real-time environments, control towers, or 24/7 operations.
• Solid operational knowledge of at least two segments: First Mile, Last Mile, or Line Haul, including KPIs and TMS platforms.
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
• Ability to structure basic to intermediate SQL queries independently.
• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to make agile decisions under pressure and handle ambiguity.
