About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain overall shift operations, production performance, equipment maintenance, and regulatory compliance
- Manage production staff through coaching, counseling, and enforcing policies
- Oversee facility workflow, monitoring process steps and implementing cost reductions
- Schedule and assign personnel to complete production plans
- Ensure equipment operation and coordinate necessary repairs
- Analyze production performance data and compile manufacturing reports
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety policies
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (Associates or Bachelors preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of Facility Supervisory experience
- Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience (Welding, Fabrication, or General Maintenance)
- Minimum 5 years of construction equipment operational knowledge (Excavators, Wheel Loaders, Screeners, Truck Scale)
- Experience in materials processing or asphalt/concrete/processing plants
- Ability to wear required PPE including respirators and Tyvek coveralls
- Experience in labor relations and employee management
