Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee workforce management including attendance, performance evaluations, and employee relations
• Ensure adherence to Veolia WTS standards, governmental regulations, and customer specifications
• Align production resources and scheduling to fulfill customer commitments and optimize labor costs
• Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to resolve production interruptions and equipment failures
• Partner with Corporate Engineering on capital investment planning and project execution
• Lead troubleshooting initiatives using root cause analysis to prevent production issues
• Utilize SAP for data extraction and reporting across procurement, inventory, and logistics
• Maintain compliance with ISO, OSHA, EPA, DOT, and DHS standards
• Design and execute talent development and succession planning strategies
• Serve as acting Plant Manager during absences

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership position
• Proficiency in SAP ERP systems
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and supply chain logistics
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks including ISO, OSHA, EPA, DOT, and DHS

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with chemical processing and material handling equipment
• Experience in facilities under OSHA Process Safety Management or Risk Management Programs
• Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent quality training
• Experience with Management of Change processes and P&ID documentation
• Proven ability to mentor and coach production employees
