Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall shift operations, production performance, and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with all federal, state, local, and customer requirements.
• Manage production staff by communicating expectations, coaching, and enforcing policies.
• Maintain facility documentation, including reports, licenses, and operating procedures.
• Monitor workflow, set processing variables, and implement cost-reduction measures.
• Schedule and assign personnel to complete production plans and resolve operational problems.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by directing personnel on the use of equipment and PPE.
• Analyze production data and performance records to provide manufacturing information.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred).
• 8+ years of Facility Supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of mechanical experience (e.g., Welding, Fabrication, General Maintenance).
• 5+ years of operational knowledge with construction equipment (e.g., Excavators, Wheel Loaders, Screeners, Truck Scales).
• Proven experience in materials processing and labor relations/employee management.
• Experience in an asphalt, concrete, or processing plant facility.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including respirators and steel-toed shoes.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency with computer systems for communication and data access.
