Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the master production schedule to ensure on-time delivery
• Oversee daily production activities to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Ensure smooth New Product Introduction (NPI) by collaborating with engineering
• Maintain adherence to IPC-A-610 and J-STD soldering standards
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ESD controls, and traceability requirements
• Apply continuous improvement methodologies to improve yield and reduce costs
• Track and analyze KPIs such as OEE, scrap rates, and cycle times
• Recruit, train, and mentor production supervisors, assemblers, and technicians
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure kitting readiness and reduce shortages

Requirements

• 5+ years of senior operational or production management experience in EMS or contract electronics manufacturing
• Hands-on experience with SMT pick-and-place, reflow ovens, and AOI equipment
• In-depth familiarity with IPC workmanship standards and ESD protocols
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP software and manufacturing execution systems
• Ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment and stand for extended periods
• Manual dexterity for handling small electronic components

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Manufacturing Management
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 (Medical) and AS9100 (Aerospace & Defense) quality systems
• Experience with ITAR compliance and robust traceability protocols
