Operations Manager

About the Company

SignWarehouse is a leading distributor of sign-making, vinyl graphics, paint protection film, and embroidery equipment. Based in Denison, Texas, we've built strong relationships with top manufacturers and serve customers nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping
• Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment across all product categories
• Implement and maintain inventory management best practices
• Oversee carrier relationships and negotiate freight rates to optimize shipping costs
• Hire, train, and develop warehouse staff
• Foster a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with workplace regulations
• Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve throughput
• Develop and track KPIs for operational performance
• Collaborate with sales and purchasing teams to forecast demand
• Work with key suppliers to ensure smooth receiving and resolve discrepancies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in distribution, warehouse management, or operations
• Proven leadership experience managing teams of 5+ employees
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems and WMS software
• Experience with freight carriers and logistics coordination
• Drug Testing Required

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or MBA with operations/supply chain concentration
• Experience in B2B distribution, ideally in signage, graphics, or related industries
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Background in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
