Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee all bunkering operations, including vessel scheduling, cargo handling, and Ship-to-Ship (STS) transfer operations.
• Coordinate with terminal and supplier representatives to ensure compliance with loading and terminal requirements.
• Monitor fuel quality and quantity to ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and custody transfer.
• Ensure strict adherence to industry standards, specifically SS648 and QMBS, and other maritime regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the operations department, including Cargo Officers and shore-based staff.
• Drive continuous improvement projects and digital transformation initiatives to optimize workflows and operational visibility.
• Manage the operations budget and implement KPIs to drive productivity and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in maritime operations, specifically within the bunkering sector.
• Deep familiarity with Singapore bunkering standards (SS648) and Quality Management for Bunker Supply (QMBS).
• Proven track record of managing teams, including Cargo Officers and shore-based personnel.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Aptitude for adopting digital tools and technology solutions.
