Foundry Robotics is building an AI-native robotics manufacturing company focused on deploying advanced assembly and production capability for leading robotics companies and national-security-critical hardware. We are reimagining manufacturing through advanced robotics to rebuild the American manufacturing industry as an AI-first, assembly-focused, dual-use contract manufacturer.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end workforce lifecycle for 50+ operators, including sourcing, hiring, onboarding, and performance management
- Run daily operations cadence, including shift planning, station assignments, and coverage
- Manage shift leads and operate escalation paths into engineering
- Build and review operator scorecards to track success rate, rejection rate, and throughput
- Design and execute quality-first incentive structures and onboarding curricula
- Run live floor QA and execute operator training and certification
- Own fleet readiness, including daily rig health checks and station configuration
- Manage contractor timekeeping, payroll vendor relationships, and floor logistics
- Manage VR teleop logistics, including headset hygiene and rotation policies
- Run continuous improvement programs focused on throughput and ergonomics
- Define and report against operations-level OKRs
Requirements
- 3–5 years managing a contractor or hourly workforce of 30+ in a high-throughput environment
- Proven ability to build workforce operations from the ground up
- Experience owning operator scorecards, SOP execution, and standardization
- Ability to work both at a desk and on the production floor solving problems in real time
- Track record of improving operational metrics like throughput, quality, and retention
- Experience designing onboarding and certification programs
- Collaborative mindset with a bias toward action and scrappy problem solving
