Operations Manager, Production

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities for a high-volume prep, cook, and plating production kitchen and fulfillment center
• Build and establish a strong leadership pipeline across kitchen, prepping, plating, food safety, and fulfillment
• Execute production scheduling and ensure department product quality
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives regarding safety, quality, cost, and delivery
• Meet all KPIs and financial metrics while supporting team goals
• Act as a liaison between site operations, kitchen, R&D, and headquarters
• Communicate company goals and priorities to the production center team

Requirements

• 5+ years of management experience in an industrial kitchen or production operations center
• Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred)
• Familiarity with FSMA, HACCP, and SQF
• Deep knowledge of Lean and Agile Production
• Experience managing 100+ employees
• Ability to work weekends and/or night shifts as needed
• Strong continuous improvement skills

Preferred Qualifications

• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
• Spanish proficiency
• Experience in both large company and start-up environments
