Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for production management following SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) principles
• Manage daily operations including Gemba walks and operational oversight
• Ensure a safe working environment and drive the development of an HSE culture
• Meet quality, delivery, and cost targets in compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards
• Monitor and systematically improve KPIs such as OEE, productivity, costs, and complaints
• Implement and develop Lean principles including 5S, pull systems, and waste/lead time reduction
• Oversee production planning and personnel staffing
• Manage professional technology transfers related to new technical projects
• Collaborate closely with Quality, Engineering, HR, MP&L, and Lean departments
• Lead, motivate, and develop the production team

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in production management and complex operations (Automotive industry preferred)
• Proven track record in improving efficiency, quality, or processes
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to drive change
• Analytical mindset with a data-oriented approach and SAP experience
• University degree in a technical or economic field
• English language proficiency at a B2 level or higher

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in German is an advantage
