About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for event staff during shows, providing direct support to the General Manager and Senior Operations Manager.
  • Support day-of-event execution by maintaining a visible presence on the floor and assisting all event staff departments.
  • Coach, mentor, and manage staff, including executing schedules, managing availability, and administering verbal warnings or write-ups when necessary.
  • Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate operational updates, policies, and team concepts to staff.
  • Ensure all operational tools, POS systems, and service areas are prepared and functioning prior to doors.
  • Monitor service standards, guest experience, and operational efficiency throughout events.
  • Collaborate with security and venue departments to ensure safe and effective event operations.
  • Resolve guest issues or concerns in a calm and respectful manner.
  • Oversee end-of-night closing duties to ensure venue standards are maintained.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Smart Serve Certification and at least 19 years of age.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar management role.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs+ and perform constant walking and climbing of stairs.
  • Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in French (verbal and written) is considered an asset.
