Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations within the assigned cell to ensure production targets, quality standards, and schedule commitments are met.
• Provide hands-on leadership on the shop floor, addressing issues in real time and ensuring adherence to standard work.
• Coordinate staffing, shift coverage, and overtime to meet production demands.
• Coach and develop team members, reinforcing accountability and performance expectations.
• Drive Lean Production System principles, including waste identification (Muda), continuous improvement (Kaizen), and standard work.
• Utilize structured problem-solving to identify and resolve production issues and minimize downtime.

Requirements

• PhD with 0–3 years of related experience, OR Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience, OR 12+ years of directly related manufacturing experience.
• Proven experience leading teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Foundational understanding of Lean Production System principles (Kaizen, Muda, etc.).
• Strong structured problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across operations and maintenance functions.
