Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational services including air/ocean imports and exports, warehousing, and customs brokerage.
• Drive operational excellence and ensure compliance with JAS processes, procedures, and governmental standards.
• Manage branch workflows and workloads to meet client, contractual, and company KPI objectives.
• Utilize operational and financial dashboards to monitor performance and staff productivity.
• Lead, coach, and mentor direct reports, including conducting performance evaluations and overseeing training.
• Collaborate with sales, warehousing, and support teams to achieve target budgets and grow customer/carrier relationships.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Freight Forwarding operations experience (air/ocean, warehousing, and customs brokerage).
• 5+ years of prior supervisory or managerial experience.
• Firm working knowledge of air and ocean import/export processes.
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken language.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience with CargoWise (C1).
• Experience in Customs Brokerage.
