About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage site operations activity across all warehouse functions to maximize profit and revenue growth
- Ensure SLAs are met and improved consistently
- Manage data collection and maintenance of records for KPIs
- Conduct performance and development reviews with direct reports
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety reporting and MHE status
- Handle resource planning, recruitment, and agency management
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and cost minimization through stock accuracy
- Drive continuous improvement within the operation
Requirements
- Previous operational management experience
- Experience managing large teams in a fast-paced, commercial environment
- Knowledge of continuous improvement principles and methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and root cause identification skills
- Experience managing client SLAs and monitoring performance via IT systems
- Ability to build relationships with senior management and stakeholders
