Operations Manager - Hi-Rel

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale High Reliability (Hi-Rel) and up-screening operations from product inception through final shipment
• Own end-to-end Hi-Rel operations including production, screening, testing, and shipment readiness
• Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of all Hi-Rel programs to ensure on-time delivery
• Champion SAP implementation and integration initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and data visibility
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to define and execute Hi-Rel requirements
• Ensure strict compliance with reliability standards, customer specifications, and internal quality systems
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to optimize workflows
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Hi-Rel operations team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related field)
• 8-12+ years of experience in manufacturing or operations, specifically in high-reliability environments
• 3-5+ years of experience in a leadership or management role
• Hands-on proficiency with SAP for production planning, WIP tracking, and reporting
• Deep understanding of Hi-Rel and up-screening processes, including thermal shock, vibration, and burn-in testing
• Knowledge of industry standards such as AS9100, MIL-STD, or ITAR
• Experience in regulated industries such as aerospace, defense, or space

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in an Engineering field
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience with PLM systems such as Smartsheet or Arena PLM
