Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan daily production schedules for slag and scrap handling and processing
• Implement, control, and adjust production schedules as needed
• Determine required material resources and manage human and material resources to meet targets
• Manage equipment use, availability, and utilization
• Monitor staff performance and organize necessary interventions for improvement
• Prepare and maintain production reports
• Implement improvements to production processes and standard operating procedures
• Coordinate with Maintenance department to optimize resource availability
• Coordinate with customers on a daily basis
• Manage production budgets and implement cost control programs
• Ensure collaboration between procurement, maintenance, and management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automobile, Production, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering with at least 15 years of experience in steel melt shop or blast furnace
• OR a three-year diploma in the above streams with 20 years of experience in steel manufacturing (Steel melt shop or Blast Furnace)
• Proficiency in data analytics and data metrics
• Good computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and HTML
