Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee strategic planning and vision for facility plant operations including processing, packaging, maintenance, quality, and logistics
• Manage all facility activities and departmental managers to ensure wholesale objectives are met on time and budget
• Partner with the General Manager on budgeting and analysis of efficiency metrics, labor variance, and capacity planning
• Develop reporting to illustrate business trends
• Maintain a company culture of accountability, transparency, and enjoyment
• Implement and maintain facility and equipment preventative maintenance programs
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal licensing requirements
• Remain on-call to respond to emergency situations, scheduling issues, or facility requirements

Requirements

• 5+ years of management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Direct management experience of 30+ individuals in a manufacturing setting
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business (preferred)
• High level of critical thinking and professional integrity
• Ability to pass all required background checks
• Must comply with all legal regulations for working in the cannabis industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)
• Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma (certifications a plus)
• Exposure to horticulture, plant science, or lab processing
• Experience working in a high-growth or start-up environment
