About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the Global Derivatives team in managing complex trading settlements, reconciliations, and financial processes for ETD and OTC segments.
- Ensure accurate and timely Trade book to financial (TB2F) reconciliation on a monthly basis and maintain underlying controls.
- Monitor live exchange trade reconciliations and ensure all derivatives settlements and brokerage payments are executed correctly and timely.
- Partner with global stakeholders including Traders, Market Risk, IT, and Finance to ensure top quartile operational performance.
- Drive digital initiatives and transformational projects to simplify processes and improve efficiency.
- Manage and develop staff through frequent coaching, performance management, and career development conversations.
Requirements
- 12+ years of relevant professional experience in finance or trading operations.
- In-depth knowledge of Derivatives Trading operations, settlements, and trade book to financial reconciliations.
- Hands-on experience with ETRM systems, SAP, and ENDUR (or variants).
- Professional degree in a finance-related discipline (CA, CIMA, or MBA preferred).
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and performance management skills.
- Proven ability to deliver quality results under significant time pressure and tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving expertise with a controllership mindset.
