Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational activities for Fliway Logistics Warehouse customers, ensuring productivity and safety standards are met.
• Optimize staff motivation, allocation, and productivity, including the management of temporary staff.
• Act as the primary contact for daily operational issues, resource planning, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure all customer requests are processed accurately and maintain a high level of customer service.
• Manage warehouse layout, materials handling, and ensure stock put-away and order processing follow best practice methodology.
• Maintain inventory integrity through daily cyclic counts and WMS management.
• Monitor and adhere to financial requirements, budgets, and customer rate schedules.
• Facilitate regular team meetings and toolbox sessions to ensure strong internal communication.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proven experience in stock control and inventory management.
• Experience in financial management and budget adherence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Email, and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask while remaining calm under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be eligible to work in New Zealand.

Preferred Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business.
