Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily distribution center operations to ensure productivity, quality, accuracy, and safety standards are met
• Build and execute productivity plans by reviewing forecasts and determining labor requirements
• Manage and drive performance related to safety, quality, and customer delivery commitments
• Develop, coach, and mentor supervisors and frontline leaders to build high-performing teams
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement action plans to achieve operational goals
• Partner with cross-functional departments including Safety, HR, Inventory Control, and Transportation to support business objectives
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean processes or other methodologies to enhance efficiency

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 5+ years of leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or fulfillment operations
• Experience managing a large team, including 2+ salaried employees and 70+ indirect employees
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• Proven experience managing productivity, quality, safety, and operational metrics
• Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Labor Management Systems
• Experience with Lean methodologies, Kaizen events, or Six Sigma
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
