About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead inbound or outbound warehouse operations, managing a team of 3–10 supervisors and 50–350 athletes.
- Meet or exceed service levels and quality expectations while managing departmental financial constraints.
- Drive revenue and reduce costs by determining and implementing best-practice operational solutions.
- Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and workload assignment to optimize performance and meet peak demands.
- Develop and mentor supervisors to enhance leadership capabilities within the organization.
- Monitor program effectiveness and report productivity metrics to senior leadership.
- Ensure a safe workplace by advocating for training and accident prevention protocols.
- Maintain department standards for productivity, reliability, and inventory accuracy.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Distribution or Warehouse management.
- Proven experience managing large, diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and multitask effectively.
