About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and train the Service team to create a fun atmosphere and serve as a hub for information
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff including front desk, kids club, and janitorial staff
- Manage customer service, address member concerns, and resolve issues promptly
- Oversee facility maintenance, cleanliness, and equipment functionality
- Monitor revenue goals, manage retail, and ensure member fee compliance
- Partner with Sales, Fitness, Facilities, and Marketing teams to improve gym performance
- Manage inventory for fitness equipment, cleaning supplies, and retail products
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement safety protocols
Requirements
- Must successfully pass background check
- CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work in a gym setting and move about club floors
- Ability to bend routinely and repetitively to lift more than 40 lbs
- Proficiency in accessing and operating company computer systems
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-3 years of operations management experience
- 3-4 years of customer service experience
- Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Strong relationship building and influencing skills
