Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and train the Service team to create a fun atmosphere and serve as a hub for information
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff including front desk, kids club, and janitorial staff
• Ensure high-quality customer service by addressing member concerns and resolving issues promptly
• Monitor and order inventory for fitness equipment, cleaning supplies, and retail products
• Supervise facility maintenance and cleanliness of equipment, locker rooms, and common areas
• Partner with Sales, Fitness, Facilities, and Marketing teams to improve gym performance
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement safety protocols
• Communicate goals, expectations, and procedures effectively to all staff members

Requirements

• Must successfully pass background check
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
• Ability to bend routinely and repetitively to lift more than 40 lbs
• Ability to work in a gym setting and move about club floors and rooms
• Ability to operate company computer systems for data entry and reporting
• Knowledge of company policies and SOPs

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years of operations management experience
• 3-4 years of customer service experience
• Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry
• Excellent MS Office skills
• Strong relationship building and influencing skills
