Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and train the Service team to create a fun atmosphere and serve as a hub for information
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff including front desk, kids club, and janitorial staff
• Ensure high-quality customer service by addressing member concerns and resolving issues promptly
• Monitor and track revenue goals, manage retail, and ensure member fee compliance
• Supervise facility maintenance, cleanliness, and equipment functionality
• Partner with Sales, Fitness, Facilities, and Marketing teams to improve gym performance
• Manage inventory for fitness equipment, cleaning supplies, and retail products
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement safety protocols

Requirements

• 2-3 years of operations management experience
• 3-4 years of customer service experience
• Successful completion of a background check
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
• Ability to lift more than 40 lbs routinely and repetitively
• Proficiency in MS Office and company computer systems
• Ability to work in a gym setting and move about club floors

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry
• Excellent relationship building and influencing skills
• Strong detail orientation and systematic problem-solving approach
