Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and train the Service team to create a fun atmosphere and high-quality member experience
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff including front desk, kids club, and janitorial teams
• Manage day-to-day operations including revenue goals, retail, and member fee compliance
• Ensure facility cleanliness and equipment functionality through regular inspections
• Partner with Sales, Fitness, Facilities, and Marketing teams to improve gym performance
• Monitor and order inventory for fitness equipment, cleaning supplies, and retail products
• Address member concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure exceptional service
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Must successfully pass a background check
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
• Ability to lift more than 40 lbs routinely and repetitively
• Ability to work in a gym setting and move about club floors and rooms
• Proficiency in operating company computer systems and MS Office
• Knowledge of company policies and standard operating procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years of operations management experience
• 3-4 years of customer service experience
• Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry
• Strong relationship building and influencing skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
