Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate vaporizer production activities, including fabrication, welding, electrical, planning, purchasing, and shipping.
• Increase production capacity and flexibility while minimizing costs and maintaining quality standards.
• Oversee material availability to meet production demands and ensure on-time shipping.
• Read and interpret blueprints, assemblies, and electrical diagrams to provide technical assistance.
• Prepare operational schedules and review production reports to resolve manufacturing or maintenance problems.
• Manage staff scheduling, performance reviews, and employee accountability.
• Maintain a safety-first culture and drive actions to ensure a safe work environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in a shop floor environment.
• Proven experience in high mix/low volume manufacturing facilities.
• Strong computer literacy with experience using ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of machine shop machines and tools regarding use, repair, and maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD to check dimensions and construction methods.
• Practical application of engineering principles for the production of various goods.
