Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all warehouse operations across a multi-customer site, including inbound, outbound, and inventory management.
• Hold overall responsibility for site performance, ensuring all customer contracts meet agreed SLAs and KPIs.
• Act as the primary operational owner for on-site customers, building strong relationships and managing escalations.
• Lead, coach, and develop Team Leaders and Supervisors to build a high-performance culture.
• Manage workforce planning, including recruitment, onboarding, and agency labor management.
• Ensure full compliance with Dutch health & safety legislation (Arbowet) and company QHSE standards.
• Own site-level operational costs, driving profitability through productivity improvements and cost control.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement using Lean and operational excellence principles.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a warehouse or contract logistics environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven experience managing KPIs, operational performance, and customer service delivery.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with WMS and reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch health & safety legislation (Arbowet).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical problem-solving skills.
