Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee manufacturing operations to ensure daily production, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met
• Drive operational execution and implement corrective actions for deviations to production plans
• Serve as the primary operational representative for customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and supply chain to support business growth
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles and root cause corrective action
• Manage production scheduling, inventory optimization, and materials management

Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or operations management
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or complex manufacturing environments (e.g., metal fabrication, machining, assembly)
• Proven expertise in production scheduling, materials management, and quality systems
• Experience leading teams within a matrixed organization
• Experience managing operations management systems, including performance metrics and standard work

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems, specifically SAP
• Knowledge of AS9100 standards and aerospace manufacturing environments
• Experience with operational recovery plans and capacity management
• Strong customer-facing experience with an emphasis on operational performance
