Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations across container deposit schemes and C&I collections
• Manage a team of over 20 staff, including labour allocation, absenteeism, and performance management
• Provide in-field leadership and conduct regular toolboxes to support frontline teams
• Prepare and review daily operational reporting to ensure accurate data management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery and drive business growth
• Ensure strict safety compliance, including PPE usage and incident prevention

Requirements

• Proven experience managing operations in a leadership capacity within a fast-paced environment
• Strong people leadership skills with experience managing frontline and operational teams
• Confident stakeholder management skills, including experience with customers or councils
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance service delivery and cost control
• Mechanical or fleet knowledge is desirable to effectively liaise with vendors
