Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and inspire a team to achieve operational excellence and high performance
• Champion a strong safety culture where safety is the number one priority
• Drive operational performance through strategies, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to identify opportunities and implement corrective actions
• Manage weighbridge operations, ensuring customer service and efficient site traffic flow
• Take full accountability for site budgets, forecasting, resource allocation, and P&L performance
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and operational requirements
• Collaborate with other transfer stations to share knowledge and promote best practice

Requirements

• Proven experience leading operational teams in a supervisor, site manager, or operations manager role
• Experience in Waste Management, Industrial Waste, Resource Recovery, Logistics, Transport, Manufacturing, or Quarrying
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Experience managing budgets and financial performance including P&L accountability
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Current Driver's Licence
