Operations Manager, Child, Youth & Family

Responsibilities

• Manage Family Based Care and Residential Services across the South West of WA
• Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple residential care models
• Lead and supervise House Managers and Child and Family Practitioners
• Manage budgets, workforce, and contractual compliance
• Ensure family-based care placements meet all contractual obligations
• Drive high-performing services focused on quality care and client outcomes
• Engage with stakeholders, including the Department and Aboriginal Controlled Organisations

Requirements

• Recognised Degree in human services or a related discipline
• Leadership experience in services supporting children and young people
• Experience in residential care settings
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and complex needs
• Experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
• Proven experience in financial and contractual management
• Excellent people management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Current unrestricted driver's licence
