Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Safely manage the AD Plant and day to day site operations in line with the site permit
• Plan health and safety and environmental compliance requirements and waste operations
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act and Company procedures
• Provide management and leadership support to the Plant Manager and Operational Team
• Ensure effective allocation of resources to complete tasks on time and on budget
• Deliver continuous improvement programmes and meet KPI targets
• Promote a culture of safety including accident and incident reporting
• Coordinate contractors on site including inductions and permits to work

Requirements

• Relevant management or safety qualifications (e.g., IOSH)
• Significant experience in waste, environmental, or operational management
• Strong knowledge of waste and environmental legislation (EA and ABPR regulations)
• Experience with green/food waste, composting, or water treatment operations
• Experience liaising with regulatory authorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and SCADA systems
• Ability to analyze numerical data and manage data capture systems
