About the role
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day site operations overseeing the processing of plastic, cans, and glass
- Develop and improve safety culture by monitoring compliance and reviewing H&S statistics
- Oversee site operations in line with business needs and site permits
- Contribute to the achievement of the annual P&L budget
- Monitor performance metrics including downtime, yields, and safety against targets
- Manage production-related tasks of moderate to high complexity
- Collate reports for the management team to identify trends and improvements
Requirements
- Proven experience managing operations in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
- Sound understanding of health and safety legislation, environmental compliance, and ISO standards
- Experience managing budgets and interpreting financial performance data
- Knowledge of engineering, operational, and logistics functions
- IOSH qualification (minimum)
Preferred Qualifications
- COTC Level 4
- Strong technical and behavioural competencies
