Operations Manager - BESS

Responsibilities

• Manage BESS procurement operations, including qualification testing, pre-production testing, and quality assurance
• Oversee third-party inspection agencies for testing throughout the production and warranty periods
• Manage the production process for technologies purchased by the BESS Procurement Company
• Oversee the supplier qualification process for technologies and production lines in alignment with supply chain standards
• Monitor manufacturing and transportation schedules, including delivery and storage plans
• Ensure BOM material traceability to satisfy lender requirements
• Manage financial processes including Letters of Credit (LCs), invoice issuance, payment follow-ups, and cash flow management
• Manage various bonds, including advance, performance, and warranty bonds
• Support negotiations of technical requirements in supply agreements to ensure favorable terms for the Consortium

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, finance, or a related field
• 6-8 years of experience in contracts and purchasing within a large organization
• 2-3 years of experience in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of financial, legal, and corporate responsibility matters
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Strong research, analytical, planning, and organizational skills
