Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Own all operational outcomes for the Chicagoland market, including installation volume, warehouse throughput, quality, safety, and customer experience
• Translate company-wide goals into local execution plans and design scalable processes
• Supervise warehouse operations, ensuring inventory accuracy and seamless material staging
• Manage and mentor field installation crews and electrical leads to ensure NEC standards and safety protocols
• Build and maintain relationships with local utilities, permitting offices, and municipal stakeholders
• Act as the primary liaison between Chicago operations and central teams in Austin

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in high-growth operations, military leadership, or field service operations (e.g., Solar, HVAC, Electrical)
• Analytical mindset with ability to use data to diagnose problems
• Functional understanding of or interest in residential electrical systems and NEC compliance
• Proven track record of building from the ground up or stabilizing regions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
