Operations Manager, Audio Visual

Responsibilities

• Manage daily floor activities and technician workflows to ensure timely and accurate delivery of AV services.
• Provide direct supervision to team members, including scheduling, timekeeping, and performance management.
• Oversee inventory control procedures to maintain equipment safety, security, and quality assurance.
• Ensure accurate billing by reviewing quotes and obtaining client approval.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by meeting with guests onsite and building relationships with internal and external clients.
• Lead people development through hiring, mentoring, and driving professional training efforts for technical staff.
• Attend BEO, pre-production, and client meetings to coordinate event requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• 4+ years of audio visual and customer service/hospitality experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of audio visual equipment in a live show environment.
• Proficiency with computer hardware and software, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift/carry equipment up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
