Operations Manager, Audio Visual

Responsibilities

• Manage daily floor activities and technician workflows to ensure timely and accurate delivery of audio visual services.
• Provide direct supervision of team members, including scheduling, timekeeping, and performance management.
• Oversee inventory control procedures to maintain equipment safety, security, and quality assurance.
• Ensure accurate billing by reviewing client approvals and coordinating with Sales Managers.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by meeting with guests onsite to ensure equipment and setups meet their needs.
• Hire, develop, and mentor a talented team of technicians to drive professional growth and technical excellence.
• Attend BEO, pre-con, and pre-production meetings to coordinate event requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• 4+ years of audio visual and customer service/hospitality experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of audio visual equipment in a live show environment.
• Proficiency with computer hardware and software, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to meet physical demands including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs frequently.
