About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
- Monitor and analyze key warehouse KPIs such as order fulfillment rate, picking accuracy, and OTIF
- Lead and supervise warehouse teams, including supervisors, team leaders, and forklift operators
- Implement lean warehouse practices to improve efficiency and optimize picking strategies
- Ensure high inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock audits, and FIFO/FEFO compliance
- Control warehouse operating costs including labor, equipment, and consumables
- Ensure compliance with HSE, food safety, and local regulatory requirements
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in warehouse or operations management
- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role within FMCG or high-volume distribution
- Strong hands-on experience in inbound, storage, picking, and dispatch operations
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel
- Solid understanding of inventory management, FIFO/FEFO, and cost control
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automation and digital transformation initiatives in a warehouse setting
- Proven track record in capacity planning and layout optimization
